"Fearless Leader"

Last week I had the opportunity to participate in the PNW Big Badass Real Estate Wealth Expo in Seattle. Jeramy Poole, with Real Estate Social, facilitated a panel of “badass” real estate entrepreneurs — we discussed fear and what helps us overcome it in order to take our business to the next level. I’m honored to be included and grateful for the opportunity to share my story. Fear is a real thing that transcends all professions and every level of success. ALL business people can relate and benefit from others sharing in their stories of achievement and adversity.

What I learned from this inspiring group of fearless leaders was: 1. Use fear of “being broke” to fuel you and keep you grinding. Tarl Yaber, CEO Fixated Real Estate 2. Fear is a premonition and you need to sit in it to figure out what it’s trying to tell you. Rich Fettke, CEO - Real Wealth Network 3. Preparation and visualization are key. Moya Skillman, Team Foster 4. My tip to brand new agents: Don’t let fear stop you from asking for help. Surround yourself with people you aspire to be. And don’t be afraid to hear the word “No.” Rejection is part of this industry and the quicker you can get back out there the more successful you will be.
